Theme of project:
For this project my theme is architecture, I will be looking at the styles of old and modern buildings and creating my own design of an art museum.
I will use photos of architecture i have taken in various places, i will chose the buildings that have the most appealing designs and styles. I will also use photographs of art equipment, including paint brushes, pencils and a camera, which are all relevant to my theme of designing an art gallery. These will be used as an inspiration to the basic structure of the art gallery.

What I will draw:
I will create drawings of a camera and the any angles and positions it has. Also, i will draw paintbrushes and pencils and inspiring architecture from my photographs.
What I will research and write about:
I will look at architecture as a form as art and as a function and I will research the controversial topic in the perspective of many architectures of form vs function.
Artists I will look at:
Zaha Hadid
Hadid's architectures are very contemporary and futuristic, her detailed use of unique shapes and minimalistic colour is very inspiring in showing a very modern architectural style.
Frank Lloyd Wright
Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural designs have features of landscape in them, his designs are complemented well with nature and I find this style of architecture interesting.
Daniel Libeskind
Libeskind is an architecture that bases all his designs on ideas and stories, in order to create architecture as an experience. His architectures are modern and include angular/bold shapes.
